“Triple C” is willing to step in to fight Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 272 if the New Zealander isn’t able to find another dance partner to replace Max Holloway.
Hey @danawhite give me a shot at Alex. I would never cancel. I’m Mexican and we don’t believe in pulling out of anything.

The former flyweight and bantamweight champion hung up his gloves in 2020, claiming there wasn’t much competition left for him. He’s willing to return to the Octagon for a chance to become the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s featherweight champion.
Volkanovski became the UFC’s featherweight champion in 2019 when he defeated Max Holloway to end the “Blessed Era.” He’s successfully defended the belt against Holloway and Brian Ortega, and he was getting ready for his second title defense against Holloway.
We’ll have to wait and see how the UFC responds to Cejudo’s offer. One thing is for sure; Triple C would create an exciting matchup for Volkanovski.
